Hearing Aid Fitting and Programming
Since the shift to digital technology in hearing aids, virtually all hearing aids are now computer programmed to better meet each individual's hearing requirements. At Ritcey Hearing Aids, we personally program the major brands of hearing aids that we sell and tailor the setting to your hearing test results and your individual preferences. Through computer programming, new hearing aids offer far more flexibility than ever before. If you feel that you are not hearing as well as you once were, we can adjust your hearing aids to reflect your changing needs. There is no charge for subsequent program adjustments.
Hearing Aid Checks and Cleaning
To ensure the proper functioning of your hearing aids, we recommend that they periodically be brought in for a thorough cleaning and check up. At this time, we will ensure the aids are free of wax and debris, will change tubes and filters where needed, and ensure the aids are working as they should be. If programming adjustments are required, this will also be performed at this time. Please take advantage of this service and ensure that you are maximizing the functioning of your hearing aids.
Hearing Aid Checks and Services
When you purchase a new hearing aid(s) from Ritcey Hearing Aid Service, you can expect a follow-up phone call from us within 2 weeks, to confirm proper functioning and product satisfaction. We encourage in-office check-ups and hearing instrument adjustments when needed.
Hearing Aid Repairs
On the occasion that your hearing aids malfunction, we are pleased to offer service for small repairs in our clinic and a return to the manufacturer for larger repair work, such as the replacement of parts. All of our new hearing aids have a two year repair warranty, which means that all repairs are done free of charge within the warranty period. Small, in-house repairs are also performed free of charge past the 2 year warranty period.
Battery Sales
One of our most popular services is the sale of hearing aid batteries, which we offer at competitive prices. We are proud to offer hearing aid batteries manufactured by Starkey, one of the leading hearing aid manufacturer's in the world.
House Calls
Where reduced mobility makes it impossible for our clients to visit our office, house calls can be arranged by special appointment.
